As our company's name suggests, our fundamental goal is to bring joy and laughter into children's lives. But producing "how-to" videos for parents would simply fail to inspire. Instead, Make Baby Laugh! developed a product concept that prescribes entertaining young children and families while subtly imparting techniques that adults can learn to make their own babies laugh.

Our videos seek to inspire parents to actively engage with their kids. We strongly encourage our audience to turn off their TVs and to try the Discoveries they see in our videos. When parents apply the Discoveries they are apt to connect deeply with their child in an extremely positive way. We believe that some of the strongest emotional bonds develop when families are engaged in joyful, laugh-oriented activities and are hopeful that our products can contribute to helping parents cement their parent-child bond.

Discoveries
Our videos' are built around Discoveries: the actions, props, sounds and behaviors that parents have found to bring joy and laughter to their kids. Discoveries show parents new way to make their own babies laugh, but we present Discoveries from a child's perspective so they can enjoy them as well. Our fondest hope is that parents will apply the techniques demonstrated so that the joy that our videos share spreads far and wide. Folks that pay closer attention will also find other great laugh-inspiring ideas that we have worked into other parts of our videos.

Laugh Trax, Animations & Kid Clips
Our experience and research tell us that most young kids simply love to see other children doing pretty much anything fun and safe. Knowing this, we created Laugh Trax which sets video of families and friends engaging in laugh-producing play to music. We also use Animation to engage your kids. Make Baby Laugh! developed our first animated character TickleMon to serve as our videos' host and to add elements of surprise, incongruity, absurdity and gentle tickling to our videos — the very things that make young children laugh. Certain of our videos also contain stop-frame animations of toys and characters. Kid Clips are sound effects, absurd video vignettes (e.g. talking fish, dancing elephants, etc.) and incongruous things such as apes and monkeys acting just like people. While we produced Laugh Trax, Animations and Kid Clips for your kids, we've found that most parents get a real kick out of these as well.

Music
Perhaps the biggest surprise we had while producing our first video was the critical and essential role that Music plays in achieving our core objective. Because our aim is to entertain children while imparting ideas for helping parents inspire laughs, we face a steep challenge: composing and producing music that appeals both to very young children as well as their parents. Insights
To get the most of our videos, Make Baby Laugh! offers parents research, information and analysis we call Insights. We include an Insights Guide with each of our videos to help parents understand the “how’s” and “why’s” of inspiring children's joy and laughter. Our objective is to give interested caregivers a greater understanding of what young children find amusing so that they might find their own special ways to make their babies laugh!
